Let me start by saying how much we are enjoying this project. No, correction, loving this project! Every morning when we arrive, our client makes us a cappucinno -- and believe me, she knows what she is doing! Every afternoon, the children come home and get all excited about the progress of their bedrooms. What could be better? We love this!
So, here is the latest. For the daughter, we are making her bedroom a beautiful bed and breakfast retreat (that her parent's are hoping she will NEVER leave). This includes a stunning damask accent wall with a two tone glaze and a 18" x 22" Modello stencil using a custom metallic paint. The other three walls are receiving a shadow stripe finish with Proceed metallic texture. Check it out:
Now, for the son's room. Watch out Yankees because here comes the Sox! We are in the process of creating Fenway Park. Rob, one of our favorite contractors, installed wainscot on the 15' large wall and around the additional three walls. They were painted green (thus, the GREEN MONSTER) and now we are working on trompe l'oeil sky mural and vintage doors.
