It's Monday and Jill is already hard at work finishing the Shimmer & Lace finish in client's dining room.

Robin is having so much fun adding the Swarovski crystals to the wall finish, she decided to decorate herself! :)

Chinoiserie finish complete. Great job Laura! So glad you are on the Faux Time Design team! :)

On the road again! I spend more time buzzing from one job site and client to another these days (than on a scaffold lately). Thank goodness I have an amazing crew!!! :)

Do you ever feel like the list keeps growing and growing? We are so busy at our current job site -- I wonder sometimes if we will get everything completed before the summer! We did, however, finish glazing the molding on the great room ceiling. How do you like it? :) Angela

You know you are a decorative painter when 1) your pants stand up by themselves at the end of the day, 2) when you tell your kids good night, they respond 'Mom, you have something on your face' and you realize it is the glaze you were using at 10 am and 3) water cooler talk takes place 25' in the air...can you think of another one?

I have to share the absolute best compliment this week (or should I say YEAR!). Today I was giving a new designer a tour of our current client's home -- we have been commissioned for the entire home and the finishes we are applying are some of our absolute best. Halfway through the tour, the designer sighs and says 'Wow, you and your crew are the Houdinis of decorative and faux finishing -- I've never seen anything like this!'. What an awesome compliment! I am so proud of my team!!! ~ Angela

Happiness is finding an Oreo cookie in my lunch box. I intended to send it as a surprise for my son. Well, mom needs a sugar boost if I am ever going to finish client's Venetian Plaster before 6! :)
