5th Annual Open House - FRIDAY, JANUARY 25
Join us for our 5th Annual Open House. Preview our 2013 specialty and artistic finishes in a gallery setting at The Clinton Inn in Tenafly, New Jersey. The event will be catered all day. This year we're introducing an entire new collection of finishes called "Subtly Sophisticated." Our popular "Design Ideas" section at the Open House will give unique insights on using different finishes and artistic moldings in specific spaces.

Work on Fireplaces Begins

Today we started work on the fireplaces. We will be rendering a custom tinted Venetian Plaster finish on the master bedroom fireplace wall and a Faux Stone finish on the Great Room Fireplace wall.


The Great Room Fireplace is well over 25' and the focal point upon entering the home. We will be using FX Sandstone to create the stone like texture and then overglazing/coating with FX Lusterstones in Brown Suede and Champagne Mist to create the final finish. It promises to be breathtaking.

In the second photo, Jill is applied the second of five layers of FX LimeLux. We love this authentic lime based Venetian. It goes on like butter!! Once we burnish, seal and wax the final finish will have a beautiful high sheen that looks and feels just like marble.
